The structural tannins stand up and flex their muscles and will give you a wonderful cleansing of your palate while providing an entry into flavors like pomegranate, bright red fruits, white pepper.

This dessert is unabashedly sweet, demanding a sweet wine to go with it. The Jana Winery Angel Eis, Ice Style Wine, is made from Mendocino fruit but produced in the classic Eiswein style Scott learned in Germany. With hints of peaches, pears, and apricots, this wine brings out the holiday spice flavors of this comforting yam tart.
