The Original Grandpère Vineyard Event
Celebrating Over 150 Years
We’re back and better than ever with one of the most popular wine events in Amador County!
The Original Grandpère Vineyard, also known as Vineyard 1869, is the oldest documented Zinfandel vineyard in America. In 2024, we celebrate over 154 years of Zinfandel from this acclaimed vineyard.
Still producing today, only four wineries are privileged enough to receive fruit from this vineyard. Three of them are here in Amador County – Andis Wines, Scott Harvey Wines, and Vino Noceto.
Vineyard Tours – 10 am Saturday, Jan. 13th you’ll have the chance to walk amongst the ancient vines themselves – past proprietor & winemaker, Scott Harvey and winemaker Rusty Folena of Vino Noceto.
Unique Tastings – 11am – 4pm Saturday, January 13th, each winery will be offering current and library vintage tastings of their OGP/Vineyard 1869 Zinfandel, paired with composed plates & bites. The passport ticket will grant you access to all three locations.
Specials on Original Grandpere/1869 wine packs at each winery.
Are you a wine club member at one winery? Enjoy the perks of being a member at each participating winery! Let us know which wine club you’re a member at and we’ll extend our wine club discount to you on our specialty Grandpere/1869 wine packs!
