Forte #1 is 2004 made in the Tawny Port style from Touriga National. The wine has a nicely aged quality and light golden red color similar to a tawny port. It is the sweeter of the two with hints of dried sage, caramel, sugar spiced nuts, raspberry, and charred BBQ beef. Great wine for a steak dinner and cigar afterwards.

Forte #2 is 2003 made more in the Ruby Port style from Touriga National and Zinfandel. This extractive wine has a dark Ruby red color with hints of chocolate covered cherries, stone fruit, cigar box, truffle and clove. Great European style dessert wine with a cheese plate.
