Cantaloupe and honeydew melon with a light citrus note blend together to make a full bodied and rich Sauvignon Blanc.
Vineyard Notes
This Yountville Sauvignon Blanc was harvested in the early
morning twilight, while the Vaca Mountain Ridge just above to the
east was aglow with raging flames. Luckily, the prevailing winds
were blowing all the smoke on eastward and away from the
vineyard.
Winemaker Notes
This non oaked, Malo-Lactic Sauvignon Blanc shows varietal hints of melon and citrus. The grapes were picked when ripe but not over ripe producing a balanced enjoyable wine that goes well with food while not overpowering it.
