Super Hero Burgers

A special blend of ingredients sure to make your mouth water.  Pair this adventurous meal with our bold and exciting Mountain Selection Zinfandel or InZINerator.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 lb. ground beef
4 oz. can diced green chiles
2 oz. crumbled blue cheese
1 tbsp. dried minced onion
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
8 slices peppered bacon
4 slices pepperjack cheese
4 ciabatta rolls, sliced
4 leaves of butter lettuce
Chipotle mayonnaise

DIRECTIONS
Preheat a grill to moderate heat.  In a large bowl, combine the pork, beef, chiles, blue cheese, minced onion, garlic powder, chili powder and black pepper.  Mix until combined.  Form into 4 patties and grill over moderate heat for 6-8 minutes.  Flip once and continue to grill until medium-well, about 6-8 minutes longer.

While the burgers are on the grill, cook the bacon and set aside on a paper towel to drain.  Near the end of cooking the burgers, lightly toast the ciabatta rolls.

Remove the burgers and rolls from the grill and place a burger on each roll.  Spread the chipotle mayonnaise on one side of the roll and top the burger with a slice of pepperjack cheese, two slices of bacon and a leaf of lettuce.  Serve immediately.
