Well balanced dessert wine with hints of peaches, pears and apricots. High acidity balances with the 21% residual sugar to give you an ice wine complete from the beginning through the long lingering finish.
Grown just south of Ukiah on the Nelson Ranch in Mendocino County. Nestled in an upland side canyon this 35 year old Riesling vineyard produces small yields of flavorful Riesling grapes.
The grapes were pressed 12th December 2006 and the 4th of January 2007 in two separate batches at 38 brix. The wine fermented slowly for two months producing nectar for the Gods.
