Gingered Crab Topping

This spread is the perfect topping for your favorite bread, paired with our Mountain Selection Zinfandel.

2 cups (12 ounces) flaked crab meat
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
2 tsp minced ginger

Pick through the crab and discard any bits of shell or cartilage.   In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice and cheese.  Stir in cilantro, ginger and crab.  Cover and chill until ready to use (no longer than the next day).  Top your favorite bread, baguette or crostini, and serve.
