Tasting Notes:
Fruit forward wine with fresh black cherry, currants and mint layered with French oak. Rich full bodied Zinfandel.
Vineyard Notes:
100 plus year old vines grown in the upper Napa Valley on the Korte Ranch. Head pruned to produce big flavorful Zinfandel.
Winemaker Notes:
The small crop of long stringy bunches allowed for full Zinfandel maturity when harvested on the 4th of October. The wine was aged for 18 months in French Oak creating a complete wine with well rounded tannins.
