Fruit forward, rich full flavors expressing both the varietal and the Amador Terroir. This complex wine has notes of cherry, pepper and blackberry with a bright center finishing with vanilla and spice.
A blend of the Manby and Harvey Vineyards of the Shenandoah Valley of Amador County, California. Amador county is extremely well suited to Barbera. Barbera both buds out earlier and ripens later than Zinfandel producing grapes at a lower pH and full bright varietal fruit. Barbera will eventually become known as the best variety for Amador County
Both vineyards produce small bunches of high extraction, perfect pH and flavors to produce world class Barbera.
